Most recently, Frank Warren has been quoted saying: “You look at the performance of Anthony Joshua which was brave, heroic and very, very exiting – but the difference in how they handled Klitschko was vast and Tyson was far superior.” in the article Tyson Fury wants to get back in ring in July, says Frank Warren.

I honestly do believe that it will not be long before he gets his belts back – he's head and shoulders above all the other heavyweights in the world at the moment.

You look at the performance of Anthony Joshua which was brave, heroic and very, very exiting – but the difference in how they handled Klitschko was vast and Tyson was far superior.

He has been having treatment and the view is that after nearly 18 months now he is mentally fit to resume training. The bottom line is we believe and hope the treatment has been successful and hopefully he gets his licence back because it is good fo[...]

The bottom line is Bill has to fight, he can't sit around waiting for people and against Khurtsidze it'll be a great fight, Bill won't have to go looking for him and we're billing the show as 'Get Shorty. It'll be July 8 at the Copper Box, that's th[...]

Out of bad comes good, Tommy's got to regroup and come back, I just felt he just didn't seem physically there, there wasn't a physical presence from him on the night. He didn't seem to settle himself down. If we'd have gone straight in with the mand[...]

Obviously I'm disappointed with the Tommy Langford result but other than that it was an excellent show with good matches. I was extremely pleased with all the performances from our guys. I thought Lyon Woodstock was outstanding, I think he'll be a b[...]

I thought the [Darryll] Williams fight [against Jahmaine Smyle] was a great fight, a candidate for domestic fight of the year. I was pleased that in the ratings, BT beat Sky. As I said, with a level playing field it'll be interesting, and that's wit[...]

I'm hoping, at worst, the rematch is for an interim world title.

I've spoken to them, they both want it and it will happen in September. That gives them plenty of time to recover from the cuts and injuries from the first fight, they both need to be 100 per cent for a rematch. Firstly at the weigh-in Smith was mea[...]

I am delighted to have delivered this opportunity for these two outstanding fighters. This fight has all the ingredients to be a fight the year contender and now, with the added prize of the interim belt, there is more than just pride on the line fo[...]

Really, he should be fighting Crolla this weekend. That's the fight to make, it's unfortunate it hasn't been made. I hope Crolla wins and I hope Terry comes through, then there's no excuse for that fight not to be made.

The funny thing with him [Flanagan], the only fight he keeps saying he wants is Lomachenko. That tells you all you need to know about him. Most fighters, and I mean this, don't want to fight the best.

If Liam comes through his fight, it's a tough fight, and if Terry comes through in another tough fight, what about a catchweight fight between them? What a fight that would be.

He and Liam Walsh are cut from the same cloth.

We are talking and we'll see where it goes. For me, a good boxer will always beat a big puncher but the thing is with Golovkin, he's got both. He's one of those guys, he'll take a couple of shots to land one of his own and it can make him look vulne[...]

"The thing is with Golovkin, when he wants to he can box. He's got a fabulous jab, when he was using his jab he was superb,"

Jacobs really rose to the occasion and made a much better fight of it than I thought he would and no one could complain if they made a rematch.

Golovkin-Jacobs was a fantastic fight and I thought Golovkin won it by a couple of rounds. Having said that, I can understand why people say it was a closer fight than that because some of the rounds were very close but the way I scored it I made Go[...]

We're trying to make that fight [Golovkin-Saunders] but whether we can get it done I don't know. I thought there were some things that will encourage Bill in that fight, when Jacobs turned southpaw that was when he was most successful. Bill's a big [...]

He's got a hearing in early May and after that obviously it'll be determined what he can do. He's got intentions of coming through the hearing, which I hope he will do, and hopefully he can fight on. He's back in training and he's got the bit betwee[...]

Khurtsidze will be the toughest opponent of Tommy's career but I know he has the tools to beat him. He's the local hero and will have thousands of his fanatical fans pushing him on to victory. Tommy has a brilliant trainer in Tom Chaney, who I'm sur[...]

"When Parker fought [Andy] Ruiz it was on the understanding that the winner of the fight, which was Parker, makes a mandatory defence against the next available, which was Hughie. It could have been David Haye but it was Hughie, and I did that based[...]

She has changed my mind about women's boxing.

"Of all of all the signings I have made in my 35 years in the sport of boxing, this is among the most I have been excited about". "Nicola is a national icon already and is without doubt Great Britain's most successful amateur boxer of all time. She [...]

I am absolutely delighted that this excellent role model has decided to turn professional with me, and entrust me and my broadcast partner BT Sport to guide and showcase what I'm sure will be a fabulous professional career, in which we intend to lea[...]

"We're negotiating at the moment with Joseph Parker's people from New Zealand, I believe we've got an excellent chance of putting the fight on in the UK,"

"The offer to fight Liam Smith was a while ago,". "There have been a couple of offers for Campbell to fight Flanagan and both involved money that we wouldn't consider".

The communication between us and Queensberry [Promotions] is decent, I spoke to Andy Ayling the other day. I may try and make [Jamie] McDonnell against [Paul] Butler and that's on their show, it's a good offer. I have no problem, if it's a good offe[...]

He has a style and determination that never fails to excite and is a great fighter for TV. The atmosphere his fans produce is special and that's why I will do everything possible to make sure we secure Jamie his world title chance in Belfast in 2017.

"Belfast is a proud boxing city which always generates an incredible atmosphere at every event. The recent 'Homecoming' event on November 5 at the Titanic Exhibition Centre showcased the strength and depth of talent in Irish boxing and I believe we [...]

"I'm delighted Josh is joining our team,". "He's the flag-bearer for boxing in Leeds and I'm looking forward to him headlining some huge shows there live on BT Sport and BoxNation.

He has unrivalled support similar to the following Ricky Hatton built while he was with me and it's only going to get bigger with him fighting on big shows regularly on BT Sport and BoxNation. I'm confident I can deliver him a World title shot.

"The last year, we lost two big fights that we wanted. [Chris] Eubank [Jnr] sodded around with the fight against Billy Joe Saunders and also the Tyson Fury fight with Wladimir Klitschko didn't happen. Next year will be a much, much better year for u[...]

We'll be announcing all our dates in the next couple of weeks, we've got quite big things we're looking at doing.

"Tyrone is the first of many new additions. We aim to be adding more to our stable of fighters in the coming weeks."

"It's extremely frustrating for all parties and especially Billy who has been itching to get back into the ring following a frustrating 2016,". "The medicals were sent late and mostly in Russian and once translated it then became apparent they were [...]

I feel for Billy Joe as he was ready to make the first defence of his World title and for all of the fans who wanted to watch him.

"This is the biggest deal there's ever been in British boxing,"

We are the biggest name in town.

This long-term deal will give BT Sport customers access to BoxNation and my talented stable of fighters and we are delighted to be giving BoxNation, a channel we have worked so hard to build, the vast distribution it deserves.

I'm delighted that I have signed a deal to bring boxing to BT Sport. This is the beginning of a new era for the sport in this country and I am delighted to be working exclusively with a broadcast and telecommunications powerhouse in BT. Iconic fight[...]

This deal is the beginning of a new era not just for me, but for British Boxing and I cannot wait to get started. Roll on 2017!

I am looking forward to doing what I do best, building boxing stars and promoting memorable events. 30 events a year across both BT Sport and BoxNation will allow me to give my fighters the contests and exposure to become household names.

"It was disappointing for Billy suffering an injury ahead of his fight which would have seen him defending his title this weekend, but nonetheless he's in a fantastic position". "There are three options we are working towards at the moment, all of w[...]

"We have obviously not had a lot of luck with this event, first of all being let down by Chris Eubank Jnr and now the two main fights on a card falling out on the same day. We have no choice but to postpone the card to a month later so everyone is g[...]

I apologise to the fans for any inconvenience this may cause. It is extremely frustrating as the event is already essentially sold out and we were all geared up for a cracking night of boxing on October 22 in Cardiff. I am particularly gutted for To[...]

"Belfast is always special when it comes to boxing as it is a fight city and the Irish really know their Boxing. I'm excited to be coming back and with Jamie Conlan never being in a dull fight excitement is guaranteed. Paddy Barnes is something spec[...]

"He needs to be just focused on this fight: looking ahead is not where he needs to be. He needs to get the ring-rust out of his system. Nothing's going to happen between now and the 22nd, after that we can get things moving,"

"Provided he wins he will fight one of those guys, 100 per cent. If he loses then he won't, will he? He's got nothing to bring to the table, he's got to bring the belt,"

"Unfortunately for us it was our first one and we worked very hard to be able to deliver to Sky subscribers the opportunity to go on BoxNation Box Office and watch a great fight. A lot of work, a lot of time by everybody put into it,". "That's twice[...]

"He walked away from millions, many millions of pounds,". "There's some great fights to be made and he walked away and he is the best one out of all them and I believe he would have beaten all of them.".

"It's all very disappointing. BoxNation has invested millions of pounds in his fights and career. He's obviously got mental issues,"

"His legacy is he beat the best heavyweight in the world,"

"It's a shame for him and I want to see him get that right. When you do sit him down, he speaks sensibly. This off-the-wall stuff, it's like a self-destruct button he's got. He's an X Factor in reverse. When you look at what he's done, it amazes me.[...]

"All he's doing is harming himself, it's like self-harm. For me I just feel it's a waste of talent but what can you do? You can't keep making excuses for it. It is what it is,"

I don't know him really that well but nothing surprises me. Well, it does because [you think] why has he done that? There are issues. A lot of people are affected by it and you can't mess people around. People have put their money up, their time int[...]

"I know Peter Fury, his uncle, really works hard and I'm sure his dad does. I think it's him. At the end of the day, we're all responsible for our own actions and he sits there and he does his twitter and he sends these stupid photographs that he se[...]

"I don't understand this at all but there are mental issues. He has problems and he can't fight. If you're not right, you can't fight… But don't waste everybody's time."

"Through no fault of his own, the pause button has been pressed on the career of Tyson Fury and I, for one, believe that is what it is – just a pause."

I feel sorry for him, for our BoxNation subscribers and for the fans. It is a great disappointment all round.

"But sport, I am afraid, must come second at times like this and boxing will rightly take a back seat until he is fit and ready to reclaim his place at the top of the heavyweight pecking order,". "I am no expert and I'm not able to place any timefra[...]

"This is a big step up for him at such a young age but one he can certainly win,". "Fury's trainer and father Peter has never held back in saying how good his son is. Now he really is stepping up to the plate against the Mexican-born Ruiz, who has y[...]

"The cousin of WBO and WBA heavyweight king Tyson Fury is set for a huge step up in class on October 29,". "Fury, 21, will take on unbeaten Andy Ruiz on the undercard of his cousin's long-awaited rematch with Wladimir Klitschko. And the winner will [...]

It's a toss-up between Sergey Kovalev and Gennady Golovkin, who are both concussive punchers. You get a lot of guys who start out and knock people over until they reach a certain level, but those two have been consistent at the top level.

"It was close [fighting Gennady Golovkin] but then the summer thing was out because of Bill being injured. After that it became a little bit difficult with the finances of it". "But Bill will be on the undercard in Las Vegas with a view to fight the[...]

I don't believe it's a 50:50 fight in terms of who brings what to the table, but that's kind of irrelevant, we're not even at that stage.

It's not a pay-per-view fight yet, because of the schedule we've got – [Kell] Brook [on August 27] and [Anthony] Joshua again, which Frank knows.

"I'm delighted and proud that the biggest fight of the year between Khan and Canelo will be broadcast exclusively live in the UK on BoxNation,"

"Hughie is one of the best and most exciting young heavyweight prospects in the world and I'm thrilled to sign him. He wants to fight regularly and for a heavyweight talent of his potential that's essential as he closes in on a world title. The di[...]

"We've offered Anthony £500,000 to fight the winner and that offer still stands,". "It's a real hotbed up here at the moment in this division so let's find out who the best fighter is in the North West. That fight makes a lot of sense, I know he's n[...]

"It's fantastic to welcome Zolani back to the UK and what a tremendous show to go on and showcase his explosive punching once again. He's a world class fighter and very soon he'll be challenging for world titles as it's his dream to unify the belts[...]

"You can't beat an all-British world title fight for rivalry and passion and Flanagan versus Mathews has it all plus revenge which adds more spice to the fight. Flanagan is the world champion and he showed how ferocious he can be when he destroyed [...]

"It would be great to see Enzo back with a world title around his waist, he's been loyal and patient for another shot at a world title after his disappointment against Braehmer last year and I'm delighted that I could deliver him the fight against J[...]

"It was an exceptional performance from McKenzie fighting away from home in Ramirez's home city and remember he only came into the fight with 11 days' notice, but gave it gave it everything he had. I think that McKenzie well won the fight and did m[...]

"I'm really excited with Mitchell and his development to date. He's a fantastic fighter who reminds of a young Naseem Hamed. He's exciting, he likes to thrill fans, he's got flair, fast hands and explosive punching power, there's no fear in him and [...]

The only viable option available to us was to move the fight to the Manchester Arena on the 10th October alongside Terry Flanagan's defence of his WBO Lightweight title in a show that is shaping up to be one of the best cards in years.

"Adam contacted me and quite correctly let me know that Andy was ill,". "Whilst they were prepared to gamble on him recovering in time, there is so much at stake for so many people, common sense had to prevail. We simply cannot risk this fight not h[...]

With October being such a busy month in the boxing calendar and every Saturday having a show, we could not afford to wait until November and risk going outdoors.

"I'm delighted that Frank's world title is confirmed for Saturday September 26 at the SSE Arena and he can now fully focus on the date ahead of him". "As Frank's promoter I was disappointed to see his big opportunity put on hold when Chudinov pulled[...]

Frank looked in fantastic shape against Castaneda and did a professional and spiteful performance to stop him in five rounds so now he can concentrate on Chudinov.

"I'm entitled to my opinion,". "Me personally, it's not for me.".

"It's a real shame that Fedor has suffered this injury with only two weeks to go until the fight, but this is boxing and injuries happen. It doesn't make it any easier on Frank who has been training his heart out in Ireland, but he will still fight[...]

"[Miguel] Cotto, [Arturo] Gatti…bring them on. Hatton is now the man to beat. He beat the man."

I've delivered Terry his world title shot on home soil, he's now got all the home advantages, and he has to translate that in the ring and beat Zepeda, who will certainly give Terry plenty to think about with that huge knockout punch he carries.

Saunders is hot on the heels of a showdown with Andy Lee for the WBO World title next so he'll be looking to be at his best. For Paul this is his comeback on the big stage and he's going to want to show that he means business second time around. L[...]

"This is a significant moment in the British middleweight division. With Eubank Jnr challenging Interim WBA world champion Dmitry Chudinov on Saturday 28th February at the O2 arena, and providing Saunders wins the WBO world title, then it will pave [...]

"He had an argument over a parking space,". "He's got to do his community service, we'll get it out the way and then we'll look at what we're going to do with him in the future.".

Mick Hennessy and I have been talking to the Klitschkos. Everybody's got to live, we're not fighting for crumbs. When Dereck Chisora fought [Vitali] Klitschko, he fought for not a lot of money but for the opportunity. Tyson doesn't need to do that, [...]

"We were talking to Klitschko last week, we thought we were close to doing something. The problem is the finance. They want everything. Klitschko's great for boxing, he's a nice guy, he's got a great image. I tell you what, they want everything on t[...]

"I'm looking forward to what we're doing on February 28, it's a fantastic show [at the O2] in London, especially when we've announced some of the undercard fights. I'm looking forward to the [Terry] Flannigan and Steven Ormond fight [on February 14][...]

He's been a bit unlucky over the last couple of years with injuries but if he gets an injury-free period he can get himself very quickly into contention for a world title.

"Adam Booth [Lee's trainer] and I are talking about what the best way to put this together is. The problem we've got, I think it's a big fight you could put on somewhere like a West Ham or QPR [stadium],". "There's nothing in Dublin, the biggest the[...]

"That's a good show. Again we've delivered for our guy home advantage. When we can we will. Paul and Derry in front of their fans have got a great opportunity of winning titles.

You can't write [Derry] off. He pulls things out the bag. One thing's for sure, it's something he can get up for.

Tyson is the mandatory challenger to Klitschko and it's a position we want to preserve. Klitschko is the long reigning champion, the guy who holds all the belts, and ideally we want him to defend the title against Tyson.

We'll have Tyson's opponent confirmed shortly, but the main thing is that he keeps busy as he's only fought twice in a year and half and this next fight will keep him active before he fights again in the summer.

That's fine, but they'll have to sit down and negotiate after Klitschko has had his fight fight or we can go to purse bids, either way Fury's going to fight for the world title this year.

Obviously Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder fight on January 17 and the winner of that could be another potential avenue for Fury and if an opportunity comes up there then it will be worth exploring, but it's Klitschko who we want.

"I'm glad that the Court upheld my management and promotional agreements. I'm sorry that it came to this, as under my guidance Ricky became a double world champion, but his reliance on the advice of others has unfortunately cost him dearly."

Okay, it's a shame he didn't have more fights. He had a couple of hand injuries and operations, he had an eye operation which kept him out over the past three months, so that was a great shame, but it is what it is and we move on.

I like him as a fighter and I did a good job with him under the circumstances.

"I should have controlled it better, I allowed it to get out of hand so I take some of the blame for that,"

"It's been a roller-coaster few weeks, but I'm delighted to say that the fight is definitely on with Chisora and Fury ready to clash on Saturday 22nd November at the ExCeL London. It was an extremely unfortunate set of circumstances that caused Chi[...]

"Under the circumstances, Ustinov is a brilliant replacement for Chisora at this late stage. He's fit and ready after training and sparring for two weeks with Chisora at his gym, he's got a great record, like Fury he's giant of a man and has got som[...]
